Photography Basics
- Aperture is F stop of what meters how much light comes in and out of the camera. Shutter speed is how fast the camera takes the photo and how slow it takes the photo. ISO is how sensitivity to light the camera has if it is too high or too low it may make the picture
- when the photo is too dark and or when the photo is too bright.
- Aperture Priority is when you set the aperture yourself and the shutter speed is set for you. Shutter Priority is when you set the shutter speed and then the camera sets the aperture.
- Auto focus is a mode that when you lightly press the button and it focuses for you, you can change it by the looking at the lens.
- you need to meter your light to get the right exposure because then it will be too dark or too bright.
- white balance makes the color match the light and makes sure it isn’t like green or blue.
- shallow depth of field is when it isn’t out of focus and a good depth of field is only when the subject is in view and everything behind it is blurry.
- drive mode are single shot continuous shots, burst and lastly self-timer.
- a mode that allows you to override the cameras meter and adjust the brightness yourself.
- a normal focal length lens is 50
- a good length for a zoomed focal lens is anywhere from 55 to 90
- telephoto lenses usually use 200m lenses while wide angel is anywhere from 80-100 degrees of view
